Jon Olefson
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Jon Olefson is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Syneos Health, where he oversees the global legal, compliance, privacy, information security and real estate functions. He has extensive expertise in corporate and commercial transactions, data analytics, intellectual property and global markets, and a significant understanding of the consulting and healthcare industries. Jon is well-suited to navigate opportunities surrounding rapid growth and the need to develop real-time solutions.
Prior to joining Syneos Health in 2018, he served as the General Counsel and Secretary of Cotiviti Holdings where he led the development of the company’s Legal, Compliance and Government Relations departments during its transition from a private equity portfolio company to being publicly traded on the NYSE. Prior to Cotiviti, Jon was at Cognizant Technology Solutions, a Fortune 500 company that provides information technology and consulting services. Jon started his career as a corporate associate at a large international law firm.
Jon holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from Emory University.
